Living in Brooklyn NY in Bushwick on Palmetto St.
I Started playing soprano Bugle in an elementary school marching band. I moved on to forming a neighborhood band that started off with, Drums, Bass, Guitars, and Keyboards, which later advanced to adding in a horn section, Alto & tenor Sax, Flute, Trumpet, and Trombone.
Since the band practice in my Mother’s basement I had access to all the equipment which allowed me to learn a little bit about all those instruments.
I played in bands throughout my teenage years.
I also became the DJ for family, friends, and some paid gigs from time to time.
I was into writing original material. That goes back to when I first started playing. It started off with me getting together with friends and we would make up our own songs, or at least try to.
We did reach a point where we were able to add some top 40's songs at that time to our list and we played for family, friends, and some paid gigs.
By the time reached my 20’s I decided to go into the Military where I ended up in Giessen Germany for Three years.
I continue to play with different Musicians and ended up playing in a band named Portcall. That all came to an end when I left Germany once my Three years were up.
I later ended up in Texas where I continue to play with different Musicians. This time I ended up playing with a band called Camel City where we did gigs during the three years while I was there.
After the Military I moved back to NY and I had worked on a few projects where I got a chance to record at a few recording studios. That’s when I develop and interest in recording. I took a course on digital recording. That lead to setting up a home recording studio.
Continuing to expand my skill set, I ran and engineered my recording studio.
I created a record label where I had 10 artists. I was able to get them a deal but they weren’t ready so I ended the record label and just focused on writing music and recording.
